Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Commercial Terms for Industrial Equipment, Burners, Boilers & Imported Corn Machinery
1. Order Confirmation & Deposit Cancellations
Because BS Energy India supplies heavy industrial machinery and imported agro-processing lines, orders are formally initiated upon issuance of a commercial proforma invoice and receipt of an advance booking deposit. If an order cancellation request is submitted in writing prior to factory crating and road dispatch, advance deposits are refundable minus a 5% administrative handling fee.
2. Delivery Inspection & Transit Damage Claims
All consignments dispatched from our Chennai facility are covered under transit cargo insurance. Upon delivery at the buyer’s premises:
- The receiver must inspect external wooden crating before signing the carrier’s Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Any visible physical damage sustained in road transit must be endorsed on the consignment note and reported to our dispatch desk within forty-eight (48) hours with clear photographic documentation.
- BS Energy India will coordinate immediate insurance claim settlement and air-freight replacement parts or dispatch an exchange machine without extra charge.
3. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
Equipment that is found to have a severe manufacturing defect within seven (7) days of delivery that cannot be rectified by our on-site technical team qualifies for return under an authorized RMA reference number. Returned machines must be clean, drained of all test fluids, and securely secured in original or comparable transport crating.
4. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are processed within seven (7) business days following physical receipt and engineering verification of the returned equipment at our Chennai warehouse. Refunds are credited via direct electronic bank transfer (RTGS / NEFT) to the corporate bank account from which the original payment was remitted.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Custom-fabricated piping spools built to non-standard client architectural drawings, consumable friction wear parts (used emery stones, worn screen meshes), and third-party freight charges are non-refundable once commissioned.
